The Advisory Service for Squatters (ASS) provides legal and practical advice to squatters and other homeless people. Our office is open from Monday to Friday, 2-6pm. You can call or drop in any time we're open. As we're staffed by volunteers, it's normally a good idea to ring before coming by to double check that someone's in.

The entrance is through Angel Alley, which is next to the Whitechapel Art Gallery.We are above the lovely Freedom Bookshop. Details and a map can be found in the 'About Us' section.



We produce The Squatters Handbook (now in it's lucky 13th edition). Details for obtaining your very own shiny new copy(ies), can be found in the 'The Squatters Handbook' section of the site.
